You can also observe the difference in function of Tilt-and-turn windows compared to the old traditional sash window. Tilt and turn windows are easy to operate and offer more versatility. With a simple twist of the handle, tilt the window inwards from the top for normal ventilation. Or a half-turn of the handle opens the window fully from the side to let the summer in!
