They are also generally the most affordable window option, because they don't require any hardware to make them open.

How do they work?

Fixed Windows are generally used to create a sense of space and majesty to a room. The more visible glass you have, the bigger and grander the window will look. Because the window doesn't open, it is very energy efficient with zero air leakage.
