Tilt and Slide Windows are a combination of sliding windows and the tilt and turn windows. This allows for a varied degree of ventilation. Meaning you can have it tilted for a smaller opening, or slide it open to have a wide opening. They provide a 5 star energy seal and are very secure. They are more energy efficient than a standard sliding window, because they use a rubber seal, instead of a brush seal. Tilt & Slide windows are also very secure thanks to a robust multi-locking mechanism. These windows are capable of a very wide opening.

How do they work?

Tilt and Slide Windows can be tilted inwards form the top when the handle is in one position, or they can slide open when the handle is in another position. They don't swing inwards, so they don't impede on your internal space, meaning they can be used with standard curtains or blinds as well.
